Healthy Aging Conference

We are excited to announce the dates of the 2024 Healthy Aging Conference (formerly the Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) Healthy Communities Summit) presented by the Georgia Department of Human Services' Division of Aging Services. The Healthy Aging Conference will take place June 3-5, 2024, at the Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort in Stone Mountain, GA.

The Healthy Aging Conference provides workshops and general sessions on various topics focusing on healthy living and aging. It seeks to improve the integration and seamlessness of services to older adults, persons with disabilities, families, and caregivers statewide.

This is a paid event and the registration fee is $350 per person, which includes cost of registration and select meals for one person for all three days (see more details in the Conference-At-A-Glance ). We accept checks or money orders ONLY by mail or at the door.

REGISTRATION FEE

The registration fee is $350 per person. Conference registration includes access to all conference and general sessions, the Exhibit Hall, and all conference meals and functions (three breakfasts, two lunches, a first night reception, and refreshment breaks throughout the conference).

METHOD OF PAYMENT

The full payment of $350 is required to complete registration. Registration is not complete until the payment has been received. Register online using Eventbrite. Please mail your payment to the address below or bring your payment to the conference. All checks or money orders should be made payable to The Healthy Aging Trust Fund.

LODGING DETAILS: Conference attendees can reserve rooms at the Evergreen Lakeside Resort at the group rate of $169 per night. Reservations can only be made HERE. Reservations at the group rate will be available until all rooms are filled and no later than May 24, 2024. Register now because space is limited!

CONFERENCE PARKING: Daily parking at the resort is $4.

CONFERENCE TRACKS This year’s conference tracks are Technology & Innovation, Professional Development, Service Access & Delivery, and Evaluation & Impact.

TARGET AUDIENCE Senior center managers, Area Agency on Aging staff, dietitians, nurses, care coordinators, nutrition service providers, health educators, social workers, Parks & Recreation personnel, caregivers, and others involved in planning and providing care for adults, older adults, and those with disabilities.
